Welcome Note

Welcome all that arrive here, at my thoughts and experiences. Be them on the road, or be it solely on my mind, I decided to share them with you, fellow friend and fellow stranger. Hope you enjoy this testimonial record of my life as much as I did, do, and will, through time, live like there is no tomorrow...

Two Degrees Closer to Hell

Mozambique is getting hotter by the minute! It's 50 degrees centigrades outside (122 Fahrenheit) in the sun and 40 in the shade...

The weather here is so moist that you don't have to sweat. The air does it for you! The way it clings to your skin is too much to handle... Completely soaked and half-baked under the sun, you start to feel like a hot potatoe. Just leaning on something makes you start your own barbecue, and the prime steak is you! The air is so thick that you find it difficult just to cross the street to where the shade is. Your lungs are filled with hot air, boiled with every smell on the street.

I wonder when it's going to get better, or worse for that matter... Suddenly, winter in Europe becomes more and more inviting....
